This wonderful memoir is all about raising a child with challenges. Martha left a career at Harvard to pursue a new life with her her Down Syndrome son Adam, and the rest of her family.
Any parent who has ever had taken the road less traveled while following their child’s path with them can relate to the entire book. If you have never read it, it is definitely worthwhile.
Human imperfection, failures, and challenges are the only things that we all share, really.
