“Babies are such a nice way to start people…”

Babies are such a nice way to start people.

– Don Herold

I know some people don’t care for kids, but it boggles my mind. How can you not enjoy a child?

They are kind and lovely.  You can get them to wear ridiculous costumes, and they will do it with enthusiasm.  How can you not adore a person who loves bicycles and nursery rhymes?  They believe in magic and they heal like the Wolverine from injury.  They are always interested in jumping in a puddle, or learning something new. Their smiles are genuine, and their eyes are as always widened in awe.  They laugh, they cry, they sing, they dance, and they pose for their mothers in the most awkward situations.

This slideshow includes photos from America, Brazil, Sweden, Vietnam, Australia and many more countries.  And, they illustrate the beauty and simplicity of childhood across time.  Children, it cannot be argued, are our greatest resource.  The images below express one simple message:

All kids, everywhere and always, are the same.

So, next time you find yourself wondering what you can do to make today a better day.  Find a child and share some love.
